I help companies navigate business change, leadership gaps, or operational improvements. Most companies undergo change or transformation, as an interim executive I navigate and implement these changes, train internal candidates or assist with recruiting employees.

Interim / Corporate projects include:
SOURCING, PROCUREMENT, PURCHASING STRATEGIES. Developed and implemented Own Brand / Private Label strategies via Low Cost Country Sourcing, these programmes resulted in new product ranges, an alternative price offering to branded products, robust supply chains, compliant imports, low landed cost reporting and increased margins, resulting £14m of savings.
BUSINESS-CHANGE, EFFICIENCY, RESTRUCTURING. Project managed the closures 3PL excise bonded warehouses and the implementation of 2 in-house bonded distribution centres, managed the daily operations and W1 excise warehouse returns to HMRC. Dramatically Improved services levels, provided better inventory controls, reduced costs and increased duty-suspension, with annual savings of £5.4m.
TRADE COMPLIANCE, RISK MANAGEMENT, BEST PRACTICES. Worked closely with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to develop, maintain and manage the highest security standards, procedures and processes within our international supply chains and at 13 distribution centres.  CBP granted C-TPAT Tier 3 status resulting in annual importing cost savings of $5.5m.
CUSTOMS REGULATIONS, COMMODITY CLASSIFICATION, DUTY OPTIMISATION. Successfully challenged the U.S. Department of Commerce concerning Anti-Dumping Duty (ADD) and Countervailing Duty (CVD) scope rulings and avoided increased duty costs of $6.2m.
LEAN LOGISTICS, SUPPLY CHAIN OPTIMISATION, CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT. Introduce a common supply chain strategy and combined supply chain activities within a matrix organisation, reducing the number of 3PLs and renegotiated our leveraged volumes across international shipping, imports, exports, customs brokerage, warehousing, domestic transportation and inventory, resulting in $4.4m saving a year. 
TRANSFORMATION PROJECT, PROGRAMME MANAGEMENT. Scoped a 3 year £25m project to achieve ‘total traceability’ for the movement of GCSE / A Level exam/test papers, completed scripts and coursework between stakeholders.
SUPPLY CHAIN AUTOMATION, TECHNICAL PROCESSES DEVELOPMENT. Scoped and implemented software solutions to manage products through the end-to-end supply chain, with software providers such as SAP, GT Nexus, Amber Road, TradeCard and Integration Point.
