Results-oriented Chief Information & Chief Transformation Officer who enables change by creating vision, advocacy and partnerships that deliver Operating Model, Value Creation, Cost Transformation and Technology-Enabled Change
Over 25 years leading business and technology functions to deliver exceptional performance and complex transformation initiatives across global organisations worldwide. Transformation initiatives have ranged from Restructuring & Cost Transformation, Operating Model & Headcount Reduction, Culture Change, M&A / TSA Integration, IT, Finance & HR Business Process Outsourcing, Global Application Implementation (SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Microsoft) and Digital Transformation. Through a combination of expertise which spans business, technology and restructuring Shaun is able to lead the development of initiatives to reduce costs, enable business performance/recovery and improve overall digital landscape.
Cost Transformation – At Digicel, removed $128m of in-year Operating Cost with an annualised run rate of $205m and delivered £110m Cash Booster through the recovery of a failing cost transformation programme.
Operating Model – Across all of my most notable roles I have developed, defined and delivered new operating models, in one case reducing headcount by 35%
Digital Transformation – Developed a full Digital Transformation Blueprint for Aveva that enabled both cloud-first and fit-to-standard principles to be applied, enabling a low cost, scalable and resilient transition path. At Digicel, developed mobile application that achieved 500k users within 6months across 16 Caribbean markets enabling customers to access content, pay bills, top-up subscriptions and interact with Customer Services.
Finance & HR Transformation – For Unit4, delivered Global Finance, PSA & HR Transformation Programme that had previously failed mid-deployment. Within 18 months 94% of revenues flowed through the ERP platform and an outsourced Finance & HR SSC was fully deployed in Poland.
TSA Integration – Managed complex M&A through to final execution. Within the Aveva integration this required a re-negotiated inflight Transitional Services Agreement, the negotiations secured an additional £18m of funding creating a transformation budget of £50m.
ERP-Enabled Transformation – Delivered over 20 full life cycle programmes and successfully recovered a further five. Programme values ranged from $10m to $250m. Programmes have globally delivered into over 100 locations across 32 countries. These have been a mix of on-premise and cloud-based programmes across major platforms including SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, Salesforce and Cisco with key partners such as Deloitte, McKinsey, PwC, Cognizant & Wipro.
