NHS Trust Development Authority (TDA) (with the support of Monitor, TDA, the Care Quality Commission (CQC), NHS England and the Department of Health (DH)) are engaged in a process to cap rates paid for agency workers which would help them to procure agency staff at more affordable rates.
The TDA proposes to introduce caps on the total amount trusts can pay per hour for all types of agency staff they procure, from the 23rd November 2015.
These consultations often fail to adequately address senior interim managers and executives, which in this consultation paper they refer to as ‘Very Senior Managers’ (VSM’s).
The IIM would like to respond to the consultation which has a deadline of 5pm on 13 November 2015.
Whilst the IIM has expertise of responding to consultations, this one requires informed insight from interims and and interested provider consultants with a focus on the healthcare market.
If you have such expertise, please join this skype call so that we can form a small project team to prepare an insightful and helpful consultation response on behalf of Interims, a.k.a. VSM’s.
Important: please list your skype address in the comments box when booking your free slot.
Any issues or questions, please contact me.
