Our topic for this month is ‘The Art of Selling Yourself, without actually Selling Yourself’.
We’ve discussed ‘sales’ before, inevitably, but it remains an issue of perennial interest.
What’s stopping you as an interim manager or executive rising to the tip of the tongue of clients or interim service providers seeking to identify a solution, rising to the top of your game and maintaining both opportunity and day rate in a highly commoditised, competitive market?
The evening is facilitated by IIM Chairman, Ad van der Rest, with headline speakers, Jo Rawcliffe and Simon Hudson from Morphosis Partners and the usual audience discussion and Q & A.
“Jo and Simon really understand performing people, their business helps people to do just that. I’m looking forward to them sharing their insight and having a great discussion about what gets you at the head of the list, not just on it.” Ad
Just to be transparent, as we like to be, whilst Jo & Simon will have the opportunity to briefly reference their services as they should, they are not coming to give an extended sales pitch and we thank them for their generosity with their time at this event.
Our agenda for the evening:
- 6.30pm networking (with food) – though we welcome early birds from 6.00pm,
- 7.15 Headline discussion – (Ad, our experts and the audience)
- 8.15pm: More networking
- 9.00pm: Close – though there is a bar nearby if any wish to continue
We’re testing a new venue. The Gallery in Austin Friars, London has a cozy and quiet downstairs function room (pictured). The Gallery is conveniently situated in Austin Friars behind Bishopsgate, and conveniently near Bank and Liverpool Street stations. We will be providing sandwiches, nibbles, water & orange juice. There is also a paid bar conveniently situated a few steps away, for those who want something stronger.
Fees, simply to cover our costs are £10 for IIM Members and £25 for Non-members. All are welcome: Interims, Providers, other sector stakeholders.
Bookings are closed for this event.
