BOOKINGS ARE NOW CLOSED FOR THIS EVENT AS WE HAVE REACHED CAPACITY
April 2020 is approaching rapidly as clients, Interims and Providers finalise their ‘off/on payroll’ preparations. The government has recently announced that it will be engaging with stakeholders to discuss the proposed changes to look at any amendments, that can make sure the changes are implemented smoothly.
To deal with the potential consequences of the new approach in the private sector, there needs to be a smarter way to navigate IR35.
Unless all our businesses, client, Provider and Interim are prepared, the value chain faces the risk of workforce disruption, skills shortages, back taxes, financial penalties and reputational damage. If you work as an Interim Practitioner via a limited company or partnership, you are risking a major impact on profitability – and potential future tax penalties. In either case you’ll need to work smartly to be compliant and use the legislation effectively.
The Institute of Interim Management, in conjunction with Interim Partners and Paystream, invites you to join us as we explore what the regulations will finally look like on launch; what the opportunities are, what clients and all intermediaries need to do in order to mitigate risk, work collaboratively within the law and how to best structure agile workforces post April 2020.
Our speakers are confirmed as Julian Ball, Legal Director at PayStream and Iain Pennell, Interim Managing Director at Interim Partners who will be talking about the opportunities presented by the tightening up of the legislation and how to navigate Interim Management leading up to and post-April 2020.
