According to the FT Brussels Briefing today:
“Uber protection: The EU is pushing governments to provide mandatory employment protection for workers in the “gig economy”. The Commission wants sick leave, unemployment insurance and maternity benefits to be given to all those in the “irregular” economy like Uber drivers or Deliveroo couriers”
As an Interim how do you see yourelf in relation to typical ‘gig’ economy roles? And how would you expect to see the difference in law, assuming you see one?
