As you may know, the Institute of Interim Management (IIM) refreshes its main board at its AGM each year, this year held on the 6th June. I am pleased to share that Hilary Husbands and Ad van der Rest have been elected as the Institute’s new co-Chairmen.
A co-Chair appointment is a first for the Institute and reflects Ad and Hilary’s complementary skill sets and expertise as well as their conviction that there are simply too many Interim developments and initiatives to work on than a single Chair can sensibly handle right now.
Standing down as Chairman is Tom Brass who has completed his three-year term, though Tom will remain on the board with a ‘public affairs’ remit. Mike Thompson stands down as Treasurer after successfully steering the IIM through the economic downturn. The role of Treasurer passes to me (David Pugh). Stephen Graham-Weall is stepping down from the main board but will retain a Regional Director brief for the South West. Tony Evans remains on the board completing the published team.
Ad and Hilary are in discussions with further new board appointees who will be announced in due course. They will also be sharing their perspectives on the next steps for the Institute over the coming weeks.
The Board’s thanks go to all those who have given their services to the Institute.
David Pugh
Secretary and Treasurer
