Risk – topic home

“Businesses face risk every day. In fact, without risk a business or organisation would not grow and thrive.

Risk Management is the process which aims to help organisations understand, evaluate and take action on all their risks with a view to increasing the probability of their success and reducing the likelihood of failure.” (The Institute of Risk Management)

Each assignment is different and risks will be of varying proportions in their likelihood and their impact.

At the IIM we want members to be confident and competent in identifying and managing risks, for their own sake and to ensure that their clients know that the Interim’s skillsets include risk awareness and management.

We actively encourage our members to ensure that their Risk knowledge is refreshed regularly. Below are some hepful resources.
