At any one time, IIM members can be found in most continents.  Typical assignments could include:

Our international activities are gaining ground as our members find more pockets of Interim activity and, where appropriate, we are happy to develop specific local facilities.

Tax and employment laws can vary a great deal, even within the EU. You will need to ensure that your providing agency sets you up correctly for the country you will be working in. Below there are some links to help you find the right information.

We have a lively Italian branch run by Maurizio Quarta. It is based in Milano.

DDIM The “Dachgesellschaft Deutsches Interim Management e.V.”  is Germany’s leading national platform for professional interim management and for the associated agency services. The IIM welcomes their members as our guests when they are working in the UK. Similarly, if you find yourself on assignment in Germany, the DDIM may be a useful organisation for you to contact for social and commercial connections.

and the IIM has worked with the Chinese Government’s Ministry of Human Resource & Social Security, providing training on the concept of Interim Management, suggesting factors which could be relevant if it wished to create an Interim Sector in the Chinese labour market.
